. . . And each wore a mask, whether to hide their true face, as protection, or as a symbol. They wore them, and few saw the truth behind the shell. . .
Done when my computer was unfunctional and I really wanted to photoshop. So I started drawing. And it sucked. And then it miraculously got better. And, since I had absolutely nothing better to do, I kept working on it. And this is the end result. And I still mostly like it.
From a story I don't work on near enough (without a title). From Left to Right: Kreabne: Elemental of Death. Or Ruler of Death and Life. One of the oldest beings in existance. Sjonna Fensaroe: half the reincarnation of a former General's soul (that serving the Element of Wind). It's a long story, and I'm not getting into it now. She's spent ten years acting as the chief demonslayer of the realm. Is rather broken and very unhealthy. Roullnael: The Demon Lord of Death. Equal in powert and age to Kreabne. Mastermind of the War. Another horrifically long story. Ian Lyron: A dumb kid who happened to get dragged in from another dimensional plane. He wound up as Roullnael's host; but unlike every other host taken, was forced to remain in the body after the Demon king had taken over. Believes there is some good in the lord, but will not say why. Morpheus (aka One): Guardian of Dreams and Portals. Handles dreams and dream trances along with prophetic visions. He's fairly calm and laid back, possessing an overall hope for Dreamers. Morpheus (aka Two): Guardian of Dreams and Portals. Handles nightmares, as well as the occasional dream trance. A great deal more sober and humorless than One, and has little belief in those who have dreams.
And now you're wondering about what all the nonsense I just spouted is. Don't worry about it. Just pretend it's a pretty picture, k?
Kreabne, Sjonna, Roullnael, Ian, One and Two along with their respective backgrounds and designs belong to me. Do not steal.
i really enjoy the detail you put into this, what did you use to color?

In our minds we are all the heros of our own stories. Always fighting against our personal demon. This is a battle that you can never win, because you are as much the demon as you are the hero. [link]

Thanks! I used prismacolors, along with the fabercastel india ink brush tips for the grey-to-black, and the occasionla touchups. And I think I was using the Tombows . . . a bit of a white gel pen. Didn't use anything new that I haven't before. ^^
